Jesse Etter | Prep Dig Scout
The senior took over matches as a high-flying attacker from all angles this season. Demirjian has all the tools for the indoor and outdoor games. She is a stellar defender and scored with power and finesse as Wenatchee finished strongly in third place at the Sun Dome by sweeping Lake Stevens.

Demirjian is playing with the confidence of a two-year varsity starter coming into her junior year. The excellent athlete and beach player is a six-rotation player who can get gritty on defense and has the rise on the pin to crush a kill down the line.

Demirjian and her Kahiau 16 Navy team made a huge splash during their run to the Gold Bracket in the NWPL. Versatile and explosive, the skilled beach and indoor player used her excellent vertical and superior shot making to terminate points and better the ball continuously against excellent CRU 18 and RVC 18 squads. Defensively, she was all over the court showing off her ability to keep plays alive and pass the ball on point.

Demirjian was lacing serves into the corners, racking up aces and free balls all day. She has great ball control and location on her attacks, in her passing, and of course, in her serving. She is playing all the way around on the outside and sets up in the middle back defensively. Defensively, hard attacks and tough serves don’t phase her. Demirjian is well-rounded and versatile, and makes the smart play rather than give up an easy point with a mistake, but still can rip the ball for a kill.

A six-rotation outside hitter, Demirjian is solid in all parts of the game. A very good beach player, which translates to her skills on the hardcourt, where she plays excellent defense and had great ball control. She also has good quickness off the floor and plays bigger than her listed height, all the time in the sand shows in her physical play.

The super sophomore from Wenatchee is a sensation on the beach and did not disappoint indoors for the Panthers this season, In the SunDome, she showed her advanced feel and quick arm, terminating from either pin. Her defense is extremely solid and she has an easy touch and tempo when she takes free balls, helping Wenatchee set up its quick offensive attack. Wenatchee has a strong group of returners coming back for 2023, expect this group to work into the trophy games next season.
