How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Highly skilled 15-year-old volleyball player with extensive experience competing at the 18s level since age 13. Plays all-around with a high volleyball IQ, exceptional court awareness, and versatility. A quick, powerful hitter with consistent scoring ability, I excel in middle back defense and seamlessly back up teammates. I am known for my leadership, agility, and ability to perform under pressu

I am a highly driven and have a fearless mentality, paired with a hunger for growth and competition. I am confident and willing to rise to challenges. I am a natural leader, and thrive under pressure. I lift my team through my energy & determination. I am selfless & deeply committed to my teams success. I combine grit & adaptability & have a relentless work-ethic.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I have been honored as Student of the Month twice for the Class of 2027. I have maintained a consistent place on the Honor Roll since the start of my freshman year and have also received leadership awards for my contributions and achievements. 2025- Academic Letter National Honor Society -2025

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership skills & excel both academically and athletically. Playing volleyball at a high level has enhanced my teamwork, communication, and adaptability. Additionally, maintaining honor roll status and being named Student of the Month twice have instilled discipline, time management & a commitment to excellence.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I have faced the challenges of my parents' divorce and financial difficulties that not everyone may encounter. These experiences have taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of perseverance. They have also motivated me to work hard, stay focused, and appreciate the opportunities I have while striving to create a better future for myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will help me grow both as a person and as an athlete. I want an environment where I can excel academically, compete at the D1 or D2 level in volleyball, and continue to develop my leadership skills. A supportive college community that encourages my passion for the game and helps me achieve my goals on and off the court is essential to me.

Ava continues to prove that consistency and drive set her apart. At just 5’9” with an impressive 9’6” vertical, she currently leads Class 5A in kills. A three-year varsity starter, Ava has been a key contributor to her team’s success and leadership. This week marked a major milestone as she recorded her 500th career kill, solidifying her place as one of the top offensive players in the state. As a team captain, she leads with poise and determination both on and off the court. Just last night, Ava was inducted into the National Honor Society, further highlighting her excellence in the classroom as well as in competition.
