Beck was among the best defenders in the Mid-Columbia Conference this season; the cat-quick libero can make all the plays in the back row. She is a tremendous athlete, and her precision passing on the court reflects her excellent play on the golf course. Beck and her Shockwave team had a good run at USAV Nationals in Las Vegas, finishing with a 6-4 record in the Freedom Division. The 2027 from Kamiakin was pretty easy to identify in the bright green Shockwave libero jersey, and in some matches, teams played keep away in serve receive. When Beck had the chance to pass, she dropped it into her setters without breaking a sweat. In the final two points against T-Street IE, she handled a tough ball in the seam with her platform, then played the next serve perfectly with her hands to help close out the set.

A super quick freshman from Kamiakin, Beck suits up for Shockwave 16, playing up an age level. She took on a back row DS position during the season for the Braves, carving out a role on a team heavily stocked with seniors. Beck has a sound platform, serves tough and played with emotion down the stretch during the high school season. Shockwave will be relying on her as a passer and defender as they have two solid setters and a talented group of front line attackers on the team.
