While she has always had a strong setting foundation, the growth in her net play, court vision, and overall range have really stood out. She covers a lot of ground, and still finds a way to put her hitters in good situations. She does an excellent job getting all of her attackers involved and spreading out the offense. Given the progress she has made, I expect not only her game, but her ranking, to continue to rise.

Desota-Weston is an electric 2027 setter with a huge ceiling. Desota-Weston preps at Blaine where she can be seen in both a 6-2 and 5-1 offense. She has a high game IQ, excellent court vision, and the quickness to deliver sets that are not only precise in location, but are also precisely what her attackers need. Desota-Weston is not just a setter, but also a solid defender. She reads the opposing teams attackers well and positions herself properly to either run through tips and dumps or dig hard cross and line shots.
