Davis was one of the pins who stood out to me at the showcase. She is a really athletic player who moves well and seems to be around the ball all the time. What I liked most was that she doesn’t rely on just one type of attack. She knew when to take a big swing, when to go off speed, and when to use the block to her advantage. She also wasn’t afraid to attack down the line when she saw it open. Throughout the showcase, she looked comfortable reading the defense and adjusting instead of forcing swings. She is a smart, versatile attacker who has the ability to score in a variety of ways.

Taylor Davis has become a hitter who doesn’t require a perfect set to generate offense. What I kept noticing was her composure when plays broke down, as she found ways to score on out-of-system balls instead of just keeping rallies alive. At the M1 Invite, she showed flashes that make her a player to watch closely as club season unfolds. Taylor isn’t hesitant to take big swings, and she attacks with intent rather than playing safe.
