About Aylee
Expert Analysis
Michelle Bamford | Prep Dig Scout
Aylee Rose Pizzo looks like an athlete who genuinely enjoys challenging blocks.
Attacking range is what she is most excited to showcase at UA Next, and the way she describes higher-level competition makes it clear she is not looking for easy points. She wants the big moments.
Her blocking and decision-making have both taken major steps this season, and one coaching cue in particular seems to have changed how she sees the net. Slow down. Read. React.
Think of every block as trying to grab the ball from the hitter.
That mindset is helping her become more patient, more efficient, and much harder to beat with the same play twice.
For a sophomore heading into one of the biggest showcase environments of the spring, Aylee’s combination of competitiveness and growing net awareness could turn some heads quickly.

💡 Game You’re Proud Of
A part of my game that I’m most proud of is my ability to read the court and score when the team needs it. I also try to keep the team’s energy high and supportive in stressful situations.
📲 Why This Post Mattered
It’s nice to be recognized as a player and get good exposure to the volleyball community. Social media has given me a chance to show what I’m capable of and helps me with getting good exposure to college coaches. I’m motivated to keep creating posts because it gives me a chance to show not only my abilities, but also my personality, and watching my film helps me improve as a player.
🧠 What Coaches Should Know
Something I want college coaches to know about me is that I have a strong mentality, and I’m able to move forward after making a mistake while keeping focus on the next play. I use every error as a learning opportunity and keep the game fun.
