certainly possesses size that catches attention, but her offensive choices give evaluators another reason to keep watching. Graham is beginning to understand that scoring doesn’t require maximum force on every contact. She can bring pace when an opening calls for it, then change the equation by taking something off the next swing. That variation between force and touch makes the MB/RS more difficult to defend because back-row players cannot settle into one expectation. Graham shows an ability to identify exposed portions of the floor and redirect the ball toward them instead of challenging a defender unnecessarily. For an athlete still early in her development, learning to recognize when to unload and when to locate can become an important offensive separator. Her game currently carries a composed quality that allows those decisions to surface. As Graham gains more repetitions against faster blocks and increasingly organized defenses, that blend of physical presence and shot selection gives her an intriguing platform to continue building upon. ~Sophia Jeanpierre @prepdig_fl

Bahar is already playing varsity volleyball as a freshman and already competing on Tribe’s 14 VKTRY Cardinal roster and neither of those things surprised anyone who watched her earn a Top Performer award in Indianapolis on June 24th. The 6’1″ middle blocker from Community School of Naples came into the showcase with a resume that would make most scouts turn their heads. Court coaches praised her blocking footwork and her ability to generate offense efficiently through the middle, and the athleticism she brought to her transitions drew consistent attention from scouts throughout the day. She is a four-sport athlete whose competitive instincts are sharp and whose sportsmanship and leadership were among the standout qualities observers noted at the event. At 6’1″ in the class of 2030, the conversation around Graham is one that college programs should already be having. Please help me congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase.

Bahar Graham is one of those middles who stand at 6’1” and immediately grab your attention at the net. It’s not just size that makes a successful middle blocker, but Bahar has continued to show the timing, footwork, and net presence to make an impact. Her ability to get established in the net makes her a tough matchup, and she’s been that way all season. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
I’m excited to see how she continues to use that length and presence to impact matches at the showcase. A strong middle not only gets blocks but also forces hitters into uncomfortable decisions, and that’s something I’ll be watching.
