Izabella is another top tier 6 rotational outside hitter and she plays to a very elite level. She moves so effortlessly on the floor, whether she is in transition, defense, serve receive, or her footwork on offense. Offensively, she attacks with a fast arm, strong elevation, and the ability to score both cross-court and down the line. She does an excellent job adjusting to imperfect sets and still finding ways to terminate, which is rare for a player at her age.

She has developed into a true six-rotation player with the ability to stabilize an entire lineup from the back row. Her platform is extremely clean in serve receive, and she consistently delivers accurate passes even against aggressive serving teams. She stays calm under pressure, tracks the ball well, and shows advanced body control that allows her to keep plays in system. She can score on offense, but she can contribute heavily with her serve receive and defense in each match. Getting someone who can contribute in so many aspects of the game is hard to come by.

She has always been a go to option offensively while still carrying a heavy load in serve receive and defense. The long-term potential is obvious, and she continues to separate herself against strong competition and is someone you should know moving forward with this class.

One of the top outside hitters in the class of 2029, Bombiski is literally dropping bombs on the competition this last month. She is really making other coaches take notice with her all around play this past month.

Offensively is where she shines the most, as she shows good timing on faster tempos ball and seems to have a good connection with her setters. Most importantly she is staying available in transition. As a play goes on, she is always in a good position to take a set and a effective swing. She understands spacing and does a good job adjusting to imperfect sets when longer rallies or out of system balls happen. A big asset for her team is that she has a back-row attacking presence which adds value to her team and never takes her out of the offense.

On the other side of the coin she is developing her defense and serve receive game to a high level as well. She is a very capable passer who has a lot of reach with her arms and gets great touches on hard driven balls. She also maintains good balance in her defense and reacts well to tips and rolls shots, effectively taking that out of opposing teams game plan. She is an all around 6 rotational pin who can do all the aspects that a team needs from that position.

She has defined herself as a top 10 kid in her class, and with continued months like this has the possibility to make her way into the top 5 for her class by the next update. She is standing out every match at the moment and should continue to do so as we head into the NQ season.

As a freshman, she’s quickly established herself as one of the most dominant and well-rounded players in Arizona’s 3A division.

Currently ranked #2 among all freshmen in the state for hitting percentage, Izabella is swinging at an impressive .316 average, a testament to both her efficiency and power at the net. She also is tied for the top spot in the state for kills among freshmen, with just under 200 kills already to her name. She has proven to be a true six-rotation threat, contributing in all areas of the game. She’s notched 116 digs from the back row, showing excellent court awareness and a relentless defensive mindset. At the service line, she’s added 25 aces as well to her impressive stats.

One of Izabella’s standout performances came in a pivotal matchup against #3-ranked Gilbert Christian, where she delivered 15 kills in a hard-fought four-set victory. That win played a key role in elevating Northwest Christian to their current #2 ranking in 3A—and Izabella’s contributions were front and center.
