Mathiasen may only be entering her sophomore season, but she already plays like a veteran. Last year, she totaled 443 assists, 183 digs, and 41 aces while earning Granite Ridge Conference Honorable Mention honors. She did an outstanding job running the offense as a freshman and only figures to get better with another year of experience. Expect Mathiasen to be a key piece for St. Cloud Cathedral as the Crusaders look to build on last season and take another step forward.

Mathiasen is a fundamentally sound setter who consistently gets her feet to the ball and delivers clean, smooth, accurate sets to her hitters. She reads the opposing defense well, makes smart choices, and knowing when to capitalize with a timely setter dump. Her combination of technical skill, game IQ, and decision making make her an impactful offensive leader.
