Thiebaud led Houston Skyline 17 Royal to an undefeated campaign of nine victories, which took the team to the top of the division. A tall and technical setter, she seemed very comfortable every time she got on the ball, distributing it very well. Thiebaud had a talented group of hitters to work with and made the most of it, showing how intelligent and efficient she is. She did a great job on the backcourt too and scored some points or setter dumps – or dunks, considering how aggressive they were.

Thiebaud continues to get better and looks ready to play her best volleyball yet in her junior season. College Station plays at her pace and the setter did a great job of moving players around and getting creative in order to get her hitters in the best possible situation to score. Thiebaud is also the team’s big-time player as she steps up for them in key moments of matches. This season, the setter will take on hitting duties in some rotations too to strengthen the team’s offense.

The best setter in Texas in her age group according to our Class of 2026 Prep Dig State Rankings, Thiebaud started the season with Houston Skyline 16 Royal with a victory in the 17s division at the Legends Classic #1. She was very effecient with her ball distribution, speeding things up whenever she had an opportunity. Thiebaud had a strong group of hitters to work with and made the most of it by sharing the ball around and running combinations. The technical setter also had some good serving runs during the day.

Thiebaud looked a little nervous at the start of the match, getting called for a couple of doubles early on, but had a very good performance after she settled into the game. Her ball distribution was very good from start to finish and didn’t have any issues with the accuracy of her locations. The sophomore also used her height well to contribute to the team’s blocking and to score in setter dumps. She turned into a right side hitter during the third set when College Station had trouble siding out and helped the team overcome the difficult moment.

Thiebaud is the top setter in her age group according to our 2026 Prep Dig State Rankings. She’s been doing a fantastic job running Houston Skyline 15 Royal’s offense, combining her clean touch on the ball, excellent decision-making and endless resources. Thiebaud had a stellar freshman high school season with College Station and has only gotten better during club, testing herself against elite competition. She’s great at keeping all of hitters involved and also moves very well to get to the ball. Standing at 5’11”, she has a strong presence at the net too and contributes with several blocks every match besides being a constant threat with her setter dumps.
