Dierkes is a freshman setter already making an impact as one of two setters running the 6-2 offense for a very talented Fillmore Central squad. While the season is just getting underway, she wasted little time showing she belongs at the varsity level. In a 3-0 season opening sweep of Kenyon-Wanamingo, Dierkes finished with 15 assists, one ace, and three digs. Getting the opportunity to run an offense and compete at a high level this early in her career should only accelerate her development. With four years ahead of her, Dierkes is a young setter with plenty of room to grow and an exciting future ahead.
