About Brenya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a a motivated positive player/ teammate . I love helping other to think positive . I work hard and play hard. I will keep being the best I can be and keep knowing who I am. I will keep striving not just thriving.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am love to be and work strong. Mentality sometimes can sometimes make me know you win some you lose some but I am standing strong for me and my teammates to know we are stronger together and we will get through any obstacles. I believe in myself and my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am on the honor roll. I have been selected for my school homecoming court. I am a volunteer a my church with Outreach Ministry. I been awarded in being part of a great competitive  dance group/ studio. I have been awarded with choreograpgy achievement & leadership.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am very active in Outeach Ministry. Serving the community while reaching out to help others. I have been a leader when it comes to leading a project for helping the homeless stay warm and fed. Leadership goes a long ways I am not a captain on my team but has showed great leadership with a a positive attitude which goes a long ways.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I would say the most significant challenge for me is at times I have felt like I wasn’t good enough at times to others. After praying about it and believing in myself more. I kept pushing in confidence and aiming to continue to be strong and corageous in life and this game of volleyball that I love.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can keep playing at a competitive level while growing both as an athlete and a person. I want to be part of a team that pushes each other to be better every day, with coaches who truly care and teammates who feel like family.
