The OH is rolling into her senior season and will play at the next level for Central Washington University. Wenatchee knows how to win at the state tournament, and Luinstra is one of the returning members of the team that won a state title in 2023. She has wrecked defenses, pounding kills down the line, and finding the deep corners of the court to score.

Luinstra was tough to stop on the outside at the Crossover tournament. The senior has added shots to her game; she showcased a power tip and a penchant for tooling high hands against Gonzaga Prep. Luinstra swung hard to the deep corner and played strong defense in the back row, flowing to the line and digging up hard swings, showing off her terrific feel for the game.

From Ava- “Breven has a beautiful high arm swing that is hard to defend, and she is consistent in serve-receive. She is also very vocal on the floor, which makes her a key part of the offense and defense.”

Coming off a state championship in 4A with the Panthers, Luinstra has excellent size and athleticism at either pin and was able to find playing time on a stacked Wenatchee team. The #8 ranked pin in the 2026 class, she will be a major force as an attacker for a squad looking to repeat next season. She is playing with the CRU MAX Performance team during club as a U17, a team loaded with Central Washington talent. Here are just a few of the U17 team, many are expected to swing up and play 18’s as needed:

Luinstra is another pin player from Central Washington, the sophomore will be one of several explosive options the Wenatchee Panthers will turn to this season. She is long at 5 foot 10 and has solid experience playing with the Evergreen Region All-Star 15U team this season in Florida and posted a terrific summer tournament season with the Panthers. Luinstra does not have to be the #1 option for Wenatchee and has a tremendous group of players to learn from around her.
