Stephan is experienced, athletic, and has the size and skill to carry her squad in big matches.

Stephan is a multi-sport athlete with a rocket-powered arm and outstanding athletic ability. The Lynden prospect will have some big shoes to fill with her team graduating several excellent seniors. Stephan has the length and tools to be one of the top pins in the state.

Stephan played as a full time 6 rotation outside, and was very difficult to stop attacking form the pin. Her height and athleticism allowed her to score over the block, but she also showed skilled angle swings and the ability to adjust and keep the ball in play. At 6’3″, she dominated as a blocker at times, either scoring stuff blocks or creating easy free balls for Apex NW 16 Summit. Stephan will continue to develop as a passer and defender, she has the strength and instincts to make plays and be a strong back row player.

Stephan was not playing in the Festival Fiesta, however the 2026 prospect will be a huge factor for the team as the season continues. The Lynden sophomore is an easy 6’2″ and can power down rockets from either pin. Stephan is athletic and uses her length as a blocker to change attackers shot selection, leading to good transition opportunities.

Stephan is now a towering 6 foot three inches tall, and has added a skillful wrist away shot down the line to her offensive tool kit. When Lynden set her on the right side against the flow, she converted at a high rate, punishing defenses cheating towards the outside. Stephan lands at #14 overall in the rankings, an impressive move up for a player who has legit size and athleticism on the right side.

The Lynden sophomore has embraced the right-side role and dialed in the footwork for the position. She hammered down 7 kills versus a tough Burlington-Edison team this week and setter Grace Rice knows how to find her with great tempo and location. Stephan’s blocking and heavy arm will play a pivotal role in Lynden’s run at a state title, the Lions will be battle-tested headed into the playoffs with hopes to knock off defending champions Columbia River.

The SIVA 15 South outside is a multi-sport athlete who has versatility and skill on the volleyball court. The Lynden High School freshman is on the pin for SIVA and can score with a swing down the line or a strike to the angle. Her athleticism allows her to put up a challenging block and handle sets that might be off-target. Stephan is strong with good length, expect her game to continue to rise as she has excellent training at Lynden and SIVA.
