With 119 sets played she stood out with 627 digs, 792 serve receptions, 43 aces and 63 assists. She displays confidence rarely seen in young players.

Bonanno led her Ozark Jrs team to the Gold Bracket of the USAV Nationals American Division. Bristol changes the tempo of a match anytime she is on the floor. She extends rallies, has great second ball contact setting up her hitters, strong serve receive and she can change the tempo of a match with her hustle and grit.

Bristol is an elite passer; her first contact keeps the team in system and set up for success. Her quick first step and exceptional court awareness enable her to cover ground defensively. She reads hitters well, communicates effectively, and thrives under pressure. This makes Bristol one of the top defenders in the state regardless of class. Ozark Jrs 15 Premier made it to the Gold Bracket before losing to a team that made it to the semifinals. Great overall season and a team with a ton of talent.

Bonanno’s defensive game is rooted in discipline, efficiency, and advanced volleyball IQ. Rather than relying solely on athletic recovery, she consistently places herself in the right positions through early reads and a strong understanding of offensive patterns. Her serve-receive platform remains calm and controlled under pressure, allowing hitters to stay in rhythm offensively. Defensively, she excels at managing pace changes, adjusting smoothly between hard-driven attacks and off-speed shots without compromising posture or balance. Bonanno’s composure creates stability across the entire back row, and her ability to remain technically sound during fast-paced sequences separates her from many defenders at the same age level. She has excelled in the open division at big qualifiers this current club season.

Bonanno is one of the most consistent liberos in the state. Her serve receive is impressive. She consistently keeps her team in system out of serve receive to allow all three options in the front row to be set. She also does a great job at reading the opposing attackers and lays out everything to keep the ball alive.

Defensively, Bristol Bonanno Bristol Bonanno 5'3" | DS/L Shiloh Christian | 2029 State AR is the heart of SCHS’s backcourt, leading the State and conference with 556 digs in 107 sets (5.2 per set). Her quick reactions, strong serve-receive, and vocal leadership has anchored the team’s defense. She has landed 41 service aces as well. Bonanno’s consistency and confidence under pressure made her one of the top liberos in the area despite being only a freshman. Bristol’s future is extremely bright.

Bonanno anchored the Shiloh back row, finishing with 68 digs and a team-high 161 receptions. Her ability to keep plays alive and provide steady serve receive has been crucial, while she also added 7 aces at the service line.

With a high volleyball IQ and mature mentality, Bristol is already playing with the potential of a future collegiate star.
