Brooke Baldwin Brooke Baldwin 6'0" | S Sussex Hamilton | 2026 State #105 Nation WI has been the key quarterback for Sussex Hamilton, a program that has reached a new level over the past few years.  A true 5-1 setter, Baldwin brings athleticism and physicality to the court where she is a floor general.  In her career she has over 2,000 assists, 700 digs and 300 kills.  She has played club volleyball at Milwaukee Sting where she has set and swung on the right side.  In 2024, she was a key piece to the Sting 16 Gold elite eight squad in 16 Open.  She is Big Ten bound where she will take her talents to Rutgers. However, she has unfinished business at the high school level where she has led Sussex Hamilton to the state tournament the past two seasons, including being state runner up in last year. 

Brooke is an all-around athlete. She has a steady presence on the court and feeds near-perfect balls to her hitters. Brooke’s high volleyball IQ, court awareness, and ability to play in 6-rotations really set her apart. In her three years on varsity, Brooke has nearly 2,200 assists. She also contributes to every other stat. From her competitive serves to her large block and big swings, Brooke’s entire game is honed for the next level.

Brooke is the top-ranked setter and the #4 ranked athlete in this class in Wisconsin. She is also ranked #121 nationally. Brooke runs the court like a seasoned pro and is committed to Rutgers. It will be so fun to see her take her talents to the Big 10. She is very savvy and has excellent court awareness. Brooke is the type of player who will do anything to win and constantly makes the players around her better.

Baldwin had me saying wow a LOT! Aside from her fast paced offense and ability to get all her hitters involved she has this super sneaky dump that she uses in the most perfect moments of chaos. As there is a ton of traffic by the net and lots of back and forth she will suddenly throw the ball across the court to the 5 corner. Her serve has been a weapon in itself and gave the Dashers some trouble.

It is no surprise that the #1 setter in the state is a Big 10 Commit. And she will be fun to watch at Rutgers who has absolutely battled in the Big 10 this season. They took Michigan and Iowa to 5, and I cannot wait to see Brooke’s finesse and high volleyball IQ on the Big 10 stage in a few years. She executes well under pressure, an absolute must in one of the toughest conferences in the country.

Brooke played lights-out volleyball at the Gauntlet. Her fast-paced offense keeps her team in tight games. Brooke is reliable and consistent yet is not afraid to take risks with her sets. She is a nationally-ranked setter in this class and was really impressive at the Gauntlet.

Brooke really does it all as a setter. She has great fundamentals and is disciplined in her footwork and movement to the ball. At the same time, she adjusts well to the chaos of the game and has a high volleyball IQ and great court awareness. She uses all of this information to her advantage to feed her offense and keep all of her hitters involved.
