Let’s continue our theme of all-around pin standouts in the Iowa PowerPlex gym. Jondle is the kind of left-side hitter who doesn’t need to light up the scoreboard to make an impact. She gave opposing passers fits with her wicked serve, catalyzing several rousing set victories for 17U Mendoza. Last weekend’s runner-up finish has put Jondle on our watch list for the Midwest club circuit.

Jondle reminds us of so many other outside hitters who have thrived in the Iowa PowerPlex gym. This versatile 2027 prospect brings every skill you could want from a left-side attacker, and Iowa Select’s 17U Mendoza squad takes full advantage. Jondle can sky over opposing blockers in the front row, but she also has match-altering potential as a middle-back defender. Last month’s Northern Lights Qualifier put Jondle’s steady platform on full display and established her as a six-rotation mainstay in the 17U Mendoza lineup. She’s ready for the Iowa Clash spotlight.

brings length and a strong blocking presence on the outside. She presses over the net and seals the seam, making it difficult for opposing pins to score line. Offensively, she elevates well and attacks high off hands. Her physical tools are noticeable. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Jondle impressed me with her performance during in-person scouting opportunities last club season. She then put together a tremendous junior year at Roland-Story that saw her collect 355 kills (.234), 326 digs and 30.0 blocks. Jondle has continued showing the versatility that led to those gaudy numbers when we watch her highlight videos from this winter. She reads the ball well whether lining up in serve-receive position or setting up against the opposing attack. Jondle is technically sound, which leads to consistently sharp passes. She’s also explosive off the court with an impressive vertical leap and heavy swing. Jumping ability and timing also lead to a potent block. Jondle is one of the state’s best all-around performers.

Jondle’s 325 kills (.261) and 260 digs were the most among Norsemen last season. The sophomore also posted 27.0 blocks. Jondle has carried that momentum into club, where she’s key player for RVA. Athleticism is her calling card. She ran in the state track meet as a freshman and also stands out in softball. The explosiveness shines through on the court, where Jondle brings a big swing and sound overall volleyball skills. She earned fourth-team all-state honors last year and should rise up the pecking order as a junior.
