Here’s another chance to check in on one of Fremont’s finest liberos. Hofer traveled from the Omaha area to participate in our Midwest Live Showcase in Des Moines. She made this trip worthwhile after standing out in various drills and team competitions. So, we were not surprised to see Hofer excel at the libero spot for Club Legacy 17 Bravo during the team’s AAU grind. This fall’s Class A schedule will be a further test of Hofer’s leadership along the end line.

I’ve had a firsthand look at Hofer’s passing strength around the Nebraska prep circuit, and now she has shared it with an Iowa audience. What a big-time addition to the entry list.

Hofer has been here before, too. The Fremont junior has taken big steps forward throughout her prep career, culminating an expanded role in the 2023 Tigers lineup. Hofer has proven to be particularly effective as a middle-back defender who can sub in and make an immediate impact. However, our Top 250 Expo allowed Hofer’s defensive range to show up in just about any zone imaginable, both in positional drills and during six-on-six action. That should be the prelude to more milestones in 2024.
