Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Fremont High School has become synonymous with its versatile, do-everything athletes, and Brandt fits that mold for this year’s Tiger squad. Last year, this dynamic sophomore was a valuable contributor to Fremont’s defense and also had some forays as a frontcourt attacker. However, Brandt’s work with Nebraska Elite has also revealed her sharp skills at the setter spot. That has now materialized on the prep side, where Brandt is putting up 7.7 assists per set as the Tigers’ leading distributor. The rigors of Class A competition have not slowed Fremont’s progress.

Brandt was a do-everything player for Fremont in her freshman debut last fall. She played a bit of defensive specialist, setter, and could turn the tide through her aggressive serve. One year later, Brandt has earned the right to lead the Fremont offense and has churned out plenty of helpers in the process. This dynamic sophomore has churned out 8.4 assists per set through ten sets this season and has also stepped up in the dig department. Brandt’s efforts have helped the Tigers to a 4-1 start and a high early standing on the Class A ladder.

Success at Nebraska Elite and Fremont High School has gone hand-in-hand for as long as we can remember. Brandt carries on this tradition with her multi-position prowess for Nebraska Elite 15 Koa. This freshman has logged reps at multiple positions, including setter and DS. However, we’ve also seen Brandt wield her quick right arm as a six-rotation opposite. Her positional designation will remain fluid as another high school season approaches.
