There is a version of the libero position that is loud and flashy and there is a version that just works. Brynlee Wilson Brynlee Wilson 5'4" | DS/L TX does the second one and does it consistently. Her platform mechanics throughout the Up Next Dallas Showcase were technically clean in a way that is not common for players in her class year, keeping the ball in front of her body and tracking it through contact rather than poking at it as an afterthought. Her reads were dependable and she rarely needed to scramble because she was already moving in the right direction before the hitter made contact. She kept her back row organized and vocal throughout both sessions and the steadiness she brought to the floor gave the players around her something to rely on.
