Elkhorn South always seems to have an army of defensive specialists, right? Hoeft broke into last year’s lineup and produced nearly three digs per set in a vital DS role. That nearly cemented her spot in the 2028 rankings, but her tenure with Premier Nebraska has built her case even further. She plays across the back row for Premier Nebraska 16 Black and will not shy away from serious passing volume. The team’s recent trip to Indy’s MEQ was the final step toward Hoeft’s stock-riser status.
