Rob Howe | Prep Dig Scout
The Iowa Falls-Alden junior earned Class 3A all-district laurels in 2025 season that saw her produce 271 kills (.229), 145 digs and 37.0 blocks. This club campaign, she’s helped CIA 17 Black earn a Freedom Division bid at the USAV National Tournament this summer in Indianapolis with a fifth-place finish at the Iowa Regional earlier this month. Dagel is athletic, making up for the lack of traditional height in the front row with explosion off of the court and an impressive vertical leap. Throw in hang time, and she consistently gets on top of the ball. Dagel is especially adept at the quicks because of her best traits. She also processes the defense, reading blocks quickly. Dagel flashes a good feel for the block and agility helps in digging up the ball when in position to do so.

The success Dagel experienced as a sophomore on the Cadet varsity last season has translated well to the club campaign. She led IFA with 212 kills and 63.0 blocks in 2024. Dagel’s 148 digs also ranked among the team leaders. While not the tallest middle hitter, Dagel is athletic and agile with leaping ability. She displays a good feel for the position with her timing and knack for reading defenses. Dagel took a big step forward during club and should impact matches throughout the next two years of high school.
