Carly Johnson Carly Johnson 6'1" | OH California | 2027 State CA , a 2027 outside hitter is focused on refining her court vision heading into the Triple Crown Summer NIT. She has been working intentionally in practice to improve her ability to read the block and back-row defenders, asking questions about shot selection and learning to adjust based on what she sees in front of her. Her goal is to make smarter decisions at the net by combining technique with awareness.

Carly brings high energy and consistent effort to every rep, regardless of whether it’s a practice or a match. “When college coaches watch me play, I hope they recognize my resilient mindset, my coachability, and my all-out effort.” She values being a teammate who lifts others up and plays with purpose. Please officially welcome Carly to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 46^th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for California High School and also for the NorCal volleyball club program.  Miss Johnson is a true powerhouse in every sense of the word.  Although she is listed as a middle, this talented young lady has the ability to play on the pins and has done so this season very well.  As an attacker, she is a juggernaut who cannot be completely stopped by any defense.  There is no way that anyone can contain her power for an entire match.  She will for sure be able to score by finding a blocker’s hand to tool out of bounds or hit to a not so ready digger who will shank the ball.  What is super impressive about her play is how she can play every single front row position at a very high level.  This versatility will impress a lot of college scouts once they get to notice her.  If you have not seen her yet, I strongly encourage you to give her a look this club season and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
