Jorie Eskes Jorie Eskes 5'11" | RS Ripon | 2027 CA took pride in being a reliable presence in high-pressure moments throughout the weekend. She described herself as a clutch finisher, stepping up to end games or tie the score when it mattered most. That ability to embrace big moments stood out, and Jorie left the weekend with a simple but meaningful focus, continuing to build consistency and take even more confident actions on every play. Away from volleyball, she values time with family and friends and enjoys supporting her high school’s athletic programs, a reflection of her connection to team culture beyond just her own match.

Jorie will be back in action at NCVA League 1 on February 7.

Jorie Eskes Jorie Eskes 5'11" | RS Ripon | 2027 CA named Top Performer at PrepDig’s Exposure Tour in Northern California.

Jorie competed with full commitment from the first rally through the final whistle. She delivered a powerful swing and consistently finished plays as both an attacker and a blocker. Jorie shared that putting the ball away against big blocks is one of her standout skills, and that showed as she scored in tight matchups throughout the showcase.

She is working to widen her shot range and improve her vertical while continuing to develop her defensive discipline after playing backrow in high school. Growing up in a family with with 17 kid has taught her how to build relationships and thrive in competitive environments, and that connectivity was clear in the way she supported teammates.

Her nonstop hustle and scoring presence made her one of the strongest competitors on her court.

Jorie was one of the few lefties in the gym, and she caught our attention right away during drills. Once the team competitions kicked off, she kept impressing with some tough attacks that were nearly impossible to block. Defending a lefty is always tricky, and Jorie took full advantage of those 1-on-1 or no-blocker situations, slamming the ball down with power. This sophomore definitely stood out to scouts, showing off her aggressive hitting style and making sure she couldn’t be ignored. –Kantessa @lasvegasvbanalyst @prepdignv

A fierce right-side blocker, Jorie’s left-handed swings are incredibly effective against even the most talented blockers. Her court awareness and ability to anticipate and solve problems make her a strategic asset. Jorie’s midsection passing is reliable, and her coachability shines through in every aspect of her game.
