About Carolina

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Calm and poised. Known for her serving and perfect passes

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love this game- I'm not super loud and flashy in my every day life and stay really even keeled but the moment i'm on the court I'm at my happiest and most fired up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm one of 3 student leaders who were chosen by the faculty to lead our 8th grade class. This was a huge honor and I spend lots of hours looking for and completing service opportunities for our school

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Both as a school leader and at church, I've spent hours in meetings supporting youth our community. Because I'm not naturally loud, this is given me so many chances to grow as a leader. Its easy for me to lead on the volleyball court, but I'm learning to speak up in my school as well

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was 8 and spent hundreds of hours in tutoring. I hated every second of it at the time. School isn't always easy for me because of this, but I'm so proud of my grades and how much I've grown from this.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm just starting to look into this and am not totally sure yet
