Another solid sophomore in this lineup is libero Cassie. A first-contact queen, Cassie’s ability to make the wearing the special jersey look matter-of-fact is very on-brand with her. Active feet, a calm platform and a knack for directing the serve receive and floor defense around her, she’s another coach on the floor, and is a main reason why the Hornets stay in system as much as they do.

Probably the libero for Rossville this upcoming fall, Cassie is a solid option for first-contact usage in any defensive and serve receive pattern. With active feet and a quiet platform, Cassie’s ability to take any ball and make it better for her setter will make or break Rossville’s season. Are we anticipating another 30-win season for the Hornets? With Miss Schoon at the helm, anything is possible.
