Williams did a good job this past weekend at the Luau setting to her attackers. While it helps to have monster pin hitters like Britta Olson on your team, setters like Williams have the capacity to make all her hitters shine. She sets such a consistent, clean ball that attackers know what to expect and thus are able to easier capitalize on it. Williams also plays with a calm about her, doesn’t get frantic or easily rattled in high pressure moments, and proves to be an effective leader on the court.
