About Cescily

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can get to most balls and better the ball. I can play any position and still help my team to achieve our goals. I can jump high and move to balls outside of my range. I can mix up my shots to put balls down when needed too. I can swing from anywhere front row. I can serve pretty consistent and in big moments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality I would say is very energetic and encouraging. If my team gets down, I can be a leader. My mentality is usually if I mess up, I can move on and self-correct.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved with my schools FCA club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have reffed many younger kids' games. I have worked concessions stands for youth events.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I stress fractured my foot during club season and I had to come back from the injury and help my team win while being a two-sport athlete.

What type of college are you looking for?

College with good nursing and business programs. I don't mind the size of the college as long as it fits me. I would like a school with good coaching staff and a mentally healthy team.

A more lengthy “big” than she appears due to her height, Cescily is a product of southern Indiana that brings vibes of a natural blocker and strong attacker to the 900 square feet. It seems like Silver Creek constantly and consistently produces long and lean attackers that can block, and Miss Linderman clearly continues that line of thinking. Already seeing varsity playing time and hitting close to .300 in her first season, she can safely play three rotations as any of the front row positions for any level of team. This is another one I’m looking forward to seeing on the club circuit this spring, as her development this club season should dictate how the rest of her career might go.
