Sydney can hit those seams on repeat! A player that has always had talent has now refined and smoothed it out and is consistent with beautiful kills and spot on placement to rack up big points! Her textbook swing and high court IQ have developed to be a pillar for her team. She is confident in her play, moves quickly on the court and comes up big when it counts. Sydney will put up a solid block, can dig and pass up accurately, covers and serves a sharp ball. She has all the tools to take it to the next level, can swing from either pin, has the hunger and talent. Going places!

Kapfhammer (pictured) brings a diverse skill set to the 15 Black team. Kapfhammer goes up strong and fades to the sides of blocks with her net approach. Kapfhammer can pound balls off blocks and to different zones of the court for big hits. Kapfhammer shows diversity in the back row. She moves her feet, but stops in her tracks to set up in a good platform to make precise first touches. Kapfhammer also uses a good vertical jump to record sound blocks. Kapfhammer’s versatility could be huge to Mercy these next three years.

Sydney will represent Union for the 2026 club season but will no doubt bring that same intensity she had with her previous club. With an impressive skill set Sydney is a gamechanger on the court, she can potentially be anything a coach wants her to be equally as impressive. She has a text book powerful swing with good vertical from either pin. She can dig with the best of them keeping the ball in play working well with her teammates and has exceptional court IQ to make herself readily available for any play. She is the ultimate athlete giving 110%, she is one you want to play with not against.

We are in awe of Sydney’s play for a freshman, it gets better every time we cross paths. Sydney is one of those players that changes the game on the court. She has explosive energy that drives her team, she has developed a cannon of a swing from the pin and executes it with textbook technique. She has a good rapport with her setter and is called upon frequently during sets and delivers consistently. She can dig up a ball tight to the net, tip showing excellent ball control and will lay herself out in the back row with a dig. She plays a full rotation and will serve up aces, and holds down the back row, knowing exactly where to be on the court to make big plays! Sydney is the complete package and a gamechanger!

Once again Sydney makes our list, and for good reason! A complete package with this one, she has a lethal text book swing from anywhere on the court, right side or opposite, it doesn’t matter. She absolutely will destroy any overpass and can serve a hard to return ball gathering up aces or leading to a complete out of system ball for the opposition. She digs hard, has excellent court IQ and makes her presence felt on the court. Mercy can build a team around her!
