Guilherme Torres | Prep Dig Scout
Wilson and her Texas Fury 18 Legacy team are entered in the 18 Liberty division this weekend. We have her listed here as a middle, but she’s extremely versatile and can play anywhere at the net, so don’t be surprised if she appears on the left or the right. That’s possible because of her impressive all-around game, which features a lot of firepower on offense, an impressive presence at the net with her blocking and solid ball control skills. Wherever she’s placed, Wilson will bring the power and the intensity, which makes of her a very productive and active player at the net.

A very physical player, Wilson can play anywhere across the net. She’s typically a high-scoring outside hitter with her high school team Round Rock Christian Academy, but switches to the middle during club and provides solid blocking and reliable offense to Texas Fury – I’ve also watched her play on the right and deliver. Although her physicality is the first thing to stand out, Wilson is also very technical, being capable of hitting inch-perfect shots and passing at a consistently high level.

Wilson was one of the prospects that have quietly put on a great performance at the Top 250 Expo. Very strong physically, she’s also a track and field student-athlete, but her game is not only about power. Yes, she showed she can hit the ball hard and she can do it consistently, but Wilson also did a great job in tagging the lines with her swings and used her reach well during the scrimmages. She was also probably the most consistent passer in her group during the passing and hitting drill.
