Hershey (pictured) had been out for a year, but is back and doing what she can to help get the Camels back on track. Hershey has a solid vertical jump and she uses it well to hit balls over and around blockers. Hershey makes the most of each set trying to terminate balls in different ways. Hershey makes plays at all six spots on the floor. Hershey has a great arm swing and uses it from both the front and back rows trying to make plays. Hershey even mixes in tips to keep opponents guessing. Hershey has figured out ways to use her off (left) hand to land some of those tips. Hershey is an aggressive server and makes a number of nice digs. Hershey has 151 kills, 48 aces and 323 digs for the Camels this season.

Hershey has turned into a solid all-around player for the Camels. She has an impressive arm swing and has developed nice shoves to the side lines. Hershey pounds balls down lines when the openings present themselves. Hershey’s court awareness has also improved. Hershey takes nice swings from the back row and uses her off (left) hand to surprise opponents. Hershey lands kills on pipes and quickly bounces back from mistakes.

Hershey (pictured) is making her return to the court after not playing last high school season. She got back into a steady flow during club season. Hershey has been an effective pin hitter in the past and hopes to finish her career with a bang there. She showed great enthusiasm on the court during club season and showed some versatility with a sound jump serve. She also makes a number of strong first touches.

Hershey transferred to Campbell County after the season and should immediately help the Camels improve on their seven-win season from last year. Hershey is a sound pin hitter creating one-on-one opportunities for teammates. Hershey also moves her feet well to stay on her feet and make good first touches. Hershey is not playing club volleyball this season, but said she has been going to a local Planet Fitness a couple times per week and hitting balls against the wall to develop her hand-eye coordination. Hershey said she tries to explode off the ground then exaggerate every single movement to put more power into balls. Hershey added you can’t do things half-swing or hitters will mess something up.

Hershey gives the Mustangs balance with a good pin presence. Hershey forces opponents to guard the other Brossart hitters one-on-one. Hershey also stretches out to make good passes. Hershey credits her teammates for doing a good job telling her where to hit balls.

Hershey goes hard every play trying to do her part to help the Mustangs win. She’s effective on a number of hard swings and tips at the pins. She makes in-air adjustments well trying to put balls down. Defensively, she goes hard after balls often leading to big saves. She’s also a good server.
