About Claire

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong, powerful outside with the ability to swing through blocks. I also have the IQ to place the ball in positions advantageous for points. I am a good serve and receive player capable of playing all around.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mindset is to win. I was a starter on the Hamilton 2025 team that won state against some tough opponents. I am tough. I am poised in tough situations. I love being in situations that test me to be at my best.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My family and I do a lot of community service to help promote my leadership skills and make sure we are giving back to the community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Winning a state championships is a challenge. We were down 2-0 in the championship game and reverse swept our opponent to capture the title.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that has a great culture for developing great people and players. I want to be part of a college that will challenged as a student and be a part of a team that has high expectations for winning.

What makes her a top-level athlete is her ability to perform at a high level on both pins. She puts up a massive block and adjusts her swings accordingly, no matter where she is playing. Claire was named to the WVCA Division 1 2nd Team All-State Team.
