Cora had a solid sophomore season, finishing with 224 kills while establishing herself as a reliable offensive option for Nixa. She’ll be counted on to carry even more of the offensive load after the graduation of Gwen Kubik and Taylor Wood. Cora has the tools to step into that leadership role, with a versatile shot selection and the ability to attack from different areas of the court. Expect her to take another step forward as a junior.

Cora made an impressive mark in her first full season, finishing with 225 kills. As an all-district and all-conference player, she is expected to take on a more prominent offensive role this season. With offseason training and experience from a challenging club season, Cora is well-positioned to replicate her success and serve as a crucial outlet for the Eagles in her six-rotation role.

417 Missouri Jrs 16 Elite made huge strides in Kansas City, especially while Kubik imposed her well on the left antenna. The team entered Show Me with a 16 American bid but exhibited ample firepower in the 16 USA division. Kubik’s cross-court hammer helped 16 Elite attain a four-match winning streak in Kansas City, and the team grew increasingly comfortable as the event progressed. That should bring Kubik back into the spotlight as 417 MO Jrs prepares for GJNC.

Kubik teams up with Creed during the high school and club season and benefits from those nice sets. Kubik falls into the category of a power pin. She brings a heavy punch behind her swings. Kubik shows she can pass the ball in serve-receive. An area of her game I like over many in this age group is her swings at out-of-system balls. She excels at staying behind the ball and getting an effective swing.
