Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a libero, i bring consistency, court awareness, and quick decision-making to the backrow. I take pride in my ability to read hitters, control serve receive, and anchor the defense with composure and communication.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Im focused, calm under pressure, and always looking to improve. im competitive, but i put the team first and stay positive no matter the situation. I stay coachable, work hard and bring energy when my team needs it most.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Im interested in joining community service clubs this year because i enjoy helping others and want to stay involved outside of sports. I have also participated in debate in the past, which helped me grow in communication and confidence. in middle school, i have received multiple Student of the Month awards for my attitude and effort in class
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve been a team captain in previous seasons, which helped me grow as a leader and communicator. I’ve learned how to keep my team motivated and focused, especially during tough moments. This year, I’m also joining a community service club at my high school, because I want to give back and grow beyond sports. It’s helping me become more responsible, aware, and connected to those around
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
During one of my seasons, I was asked to step into the setter position, even though I had no experience in that role. It was challenging at first, and I fell behind while trying to adjust. At the same time, I was dealing with severe knee pain, which made it even harder to stay confident and consistent. But I stayed committed, worked hard, and pushed through both the physical and mental challenges.
What type of college are you looking for?
Im looking for a college with a supportive and competitive environment-- both academically and athletically. I want a place where i can grow as a student, athlete, and as a person surrounded by a strong community and good coaching. Its also important to me that the school has opportunities to get involved outside of sports, like service or leadership programs
