Satterstrom is a highly energetic and crafty setter who brings a lot to the court. I had the chance to watch her a few times during the club season, and each time she showed why she is a player to keep an eye on. She is smart with the ball, understands where to deliver it, and does a nice job putting her hitters in positions to be successful. But her impact goes beyond running the offense. Satterstrom is also highly effective defensively, reading the play well, reacting quickly, and working hard to keep balls alive. Her energy, court awareness, defensive ability, and knack for making things happen are exactly why she earned her way into our rankings.

Eliett Satterstrom Eliett Satterstrom 5'1" | S Rocori | 2029 State MN looked comfortable with responsibility early. She was patient with the second ball, gave her hitters a consistent location, and didn’t abandon something simply because a point didn’t go their way. I also liked that her involvement didn’t stop once the set left her hands. Satterstrom defended, served aggressively, and stayed connected to what was happening around her. She played a lot of volleyball between high school and club, and sophomore year gives us another look at a setter who already showed she could handle quite a bit as a freshman. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Eliett Satterstrom Eliett Satterstrom 5'1" | S Rocori | 2029 State MN stands out for her technical precision and consistency. Her finger strength and hand positioning allow her to deliver accurate sets with strong shape and repeatable release points. She does an excellent job setting with intention—placing the ball where hitters can be most effective rather than just getting it up. Her awareness of spacing and timing continues to grow, especially when working with middles and right-side attackers.

What’s impressive for a freshman is Eliett’s patience. She doesn’t force the game and understands when to reset the offense versus when to speed it up. Running a 6-2 offense, Rocori has found success with freshman Eliet Satterstrom leading the court.  Behind the service line, Satterstrom is constant and lethal. She has a serving percentage of 94.1% with 18 aces on the year. She also has contributed 169 assists, averaging 3.3 assists/set to the offense that currently has a 10-8 record this season.

Satterstrom will stop at nothing to get her hands on the ball and make a play. Her court awareness and where her hitters are located allows her to set her team up for success. She moves around her offense and is able to create multiple routes for her hitters allowing them to surprise the opposing defense. Satterstrom is loud and communicates with her teammates. Her placement on out of system balls allows her to run backrow offense or her pin hitters in a way that creates a powerful and aggressive play.
