About Elise

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

During a game, staying low in serve receive and defense and taking the majority of the balls is important to me. As well as being loud on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When there's a lot of pressure, I tend to get in my head, even though I usually have a strong mentality. Even under pressure, I strive to stay focused and bring a resilient mindset to the team

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received President's Education Award Program Outstanding Academic Achievement 2025 and Plano ISD Superintendents's Scholar Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a libero is important position to communicate, I have developed to lead whenever my team is down. I was selected to be a team captain for my 7th and 8th grade school teams. I've learned to step up and put the team together when the situation is crucial.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, during tryouts when I have to work hard for a position on a team. I also had to deal with a coach that didn't have room for mistakes and had pulled me off the court whenever he could. This had a huge impact on my mentality which is why this was a significant challenge in my volleyball career.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with D1 volleyball.
