Elizabeth Lewis wants opposing blockers to think twice before leaving her alone at the net.

That mindset has helped shape her first season running a 5-1 offense. The transition brought new responsibilities, new decisions, and plenty of opportunities to learn. Every rotation now runs through her. Every hitter depends on her ability to create rhythm and opportunity.

What stands out is how much Elizabeth embraces that responsibility.

When matches become loud or momentum starts to shift, she doesn’t talk about pressure. She talks about preparation.

The confidence she is building seems tied directly to experience. Running a 5-1 for the first time has challenged her as both a setter and a leader, but she repeatedly pointed to the support of her coaches and teammates as part of that growth.

This summer, Elizabeth is focused on becoming faster, stronger, and more consistent. After spending a season learning how to manage an offense, she appears eager to continue growing into the leadership role that comes with the position.

“My goals this season are to always cheer on my teammates and keep the team moving in a positive direction in every game,” Lewis said. “Giving each match 100 percent, 100 percent of the time no matter if we are winning or losing.” She described herself as someone who never gives up, who loves the game, and who leads with consistency.
