Steadily and consistently doing her thing and leading by example, Ella is a solid pin attacker that can terminate from anywhere, and did just that in their four-set win over Hanover Central at regionals. With yet another double-double of 15 kills and 12 digs, coupled with a couple of aces, Ella’s the reason these young ladies made it this far, and look to go even farther with a semi-state match against Mishawaka Marian on Saturday.

New to us, but certainly not new to the game, Ella is a solid right side for NIVA’s top 16s team. Her arm swing is high and hard, and can hit any angle she wants. Her transitional footwork is well-trained, and she can adjust well to out-of-system balls as well as designed playsets on free balls. On defense, her size takes up a good amount of space, and she sets a pin block well. In short, Ella’s training and athleticism combined make her a solid pickup for either pin at the next level.
