About Ella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Focused ready to swing my best with every set, assists my teammates to ensure we have the best possible outcome. One point at a time!!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Quiet at times, friendly, love to be involved and to help provide and maintain a positive energy within our team. A coachable team player!!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Pickleball club, student council, pep club, medical club, and active within my church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a senior on the team I know the younger girls look at us to be the leaders. I always try to lift them up when they are feeling down, encourage to let the one bad play go, and let them know if they need to ever talk that I’m here for them. I always strive to be the best teammate I would want to have.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As an OH you always have to make sure you are on top of your game. It’s a tough position to get, but also can be a challenge to keep. After I stopped playing club, I knew I had to continue to focus on my strength, speed, and agility if I wanted to keep my spot. I know there will always be work to be done.

What type of college are you looking for?

At the moment the plan is to get my undergraduate and then move on to hopefully become a veterinarian. I have a few colleges in mind, just haven’t made my mind up yet.
