Chaapel has great firepower, but also thrives offensively for her vision and shot selection, showing consistency and intelligence with her swings. Also capable of playing as a pin hitter, she also adds to the Tornados’ game on the back row, playing very good defense and contributing to the team’s serve-receive system in some rotations.

A tall and physical player, she was excellent at the net, combining firepower and excellent vision to consistently put the ball down from the right. Chaapel’s blocking was also very effective, as she used her massive length to get in the way of opponents up at the net. She displayed a solid all-around game, not only staying on the court while on the back row, but actually strongly contributing there with great digs and solid serving, besides supporting their serve-receive on some rotations.

Katy’s main offensive player, the senior outside hitter had some ups and downs during the match, but was still their leading scoring option. Chaapel used her length and firepower well for most of the time and was frequently set at the pin and the middle back position. She unleashed when in system and had some really impressive swings, but saw her level drop a little bit when she was set off the net. Chaapel also appeared well with her blocking, playing aggressively above the net to get stops, and was reliable with her passing more often than not.
