Ella may be the key to someone’s season next year, and is still on the table as of right now. She was new to the area last season, and spent a year developing her offense at RS, but has primarily been a Middle before then. She’s in the tall, long armed build as a middle, that generates power with a strong arm whip. She’s strong on the block and has shown ability to hit 10 foot line. I’ve told people last year that she reminds me of Hunter Ross Hunter Ross 6'2" | MB/OH Flint Hill | 2027 State #64 Nation VA a few years ago, I think she has that kind of potential if someone keeps her at middle. She’s that kind of player that could be conference player of the year as a freshman in the right situation, I’m very interested to see where she lands.

At 6’0″ Ella shows some good height for a middle or right side. She is at the point in her game where her ability to block far exceeds her offensive game. She still needs work on her arm swing in order to achieve greater velocity on her hits.

For McNamara she played middle and right side. She averaged about 1 kill per set with a hitting percentage of .199. When blocking she finished second on the team averaging about .6 blocks per set.

Ella debuts at 163. Still a little raw but full of potential.
