One of two star players who stayed with Maryland Juniors, though with her older sister playing for Paramount I suspected a move there. As stated in previous evaluations her father played professional basketball for a number of years, including the Wizards. Her mother also played basketball for Syracuse. Sierra brings their athleticism to the court when she plays.
At 6’0″ she brings an approach jump of 10’4″ to the court. When she tips over the block her hand is normally above the blockers hands and the ball drops to the floor just over the block. A six rotation player who could still use some work ironing out the consistency of her back row play. Maryland Juniors prefers her playing back row because of the missiles she fires over the net.
Very deserving of an NTPD invite.

is a class of 2028 who also played on the 14 team. She moved from right side to left side where she is just as potent as Sierra. She also plays six rotations, firing high velocity shots into the opponent’s back row.

When you watch Sierra play you can see the athleticism in her game. Her dad played professional basketball for a number of years while her mom also played basketball for Syracuse. It is no wonder she flies with an approach jump reaching 10’4″.
Last year she played for Maryland Juniors 14, which earned an Open bid for Junior Nationals. Many of those players left to play for either Metro Travel or Metro National. Sierra stayed with Maryland Juniors. Despite all those departures they still rank as the third best team in the Region, repeating as winners of the 15 Open at National Harbor (they won it last year as 14s). They also battled to a competitive ninth place finish at Capitol Hill Classic.
At some point it would not surprise me to see her get an NTPD invite. She certainly has the skill set. They can’t all be Metro players. It also would not surprise me that plenty of power four schools have her name in their notebooks as a player to pursue.

Sierra ranks number 3 in our class of 2029. That is the highest ranking for any player competing in the National Harbor. Sierra is another player who stayed loyal to her club. While almost all her 14 U team scattered for Metro Travel or National Sierra stayed with Maryland Juniors. While others will fight for playing time Sierra will dominate from the left side, standing out as the primary hitter for her team.
She has inched up to 6’0″ and with her combination of jump and height she crushes balls over most blocks. Her approach jump is greater than 10’2″. An exceptional athlete with an incredible wrist snap. Definitely a difference maker on the court.
Her back row play needs some improvement but the more she plays it the better she will get.
