Her expressive leadership is to be respected by her teammates and if you didn’t know about Ella, you better ask about her! Her pre-serve communication is very sound, her on-court directives are concise, her floor coverage is seamless as she is always moving her feet, her platform is quiet, and her passes are on point. Ella had an awesome year at Green Valley as the team’s libero. For one, she’s got the split step mastered, especially on serve receive, which lets her get to serves way faster. She moves side to side with ease and pairs her passing skills with a solid serve. She’s also not afraid to step up for the second ball in out-of-system plays, finishing the season with about 55 assists and 355 digs. We got a chance to see her skills put to the test at the Nevada Top 250 Expo and can’t wait to see more of her in action during the club this season! –Kantessa @lasvegasvbanalyst @prepdignv

Ella was super competitive during the six-on-six games, diving and hustling for every ball that came her way. She played left back and totally owned the position. She did a great job reading hitters and was all over any sneaky setter dumps. She consistently put herself in the best position to make a good pass.
