Plainfield’s run to the state title match was epic last fall, but to remain there, holes needed to be filled in certain positions. Insert Elle into an immediate starting role on one of the top ten teams in the state, and watch her work. Unassuming, even at 6’2”+, Elle’s ability to do the right thing and be around the ball doing the dirty work middles do looks innate to her. She has long arms on defense, is up and ready to swing in transition, and is rarely caught being lost or not being aggressive enough—-like so many other freshmen are in their rookie season. To know that the Quakers can rely on this young lady for years to come speaks volumes to the future of the program.
