Ellianna Hoefert Ellianna Hoefert 6'2" | MB/RS Central Lyon | 2027 State IA brought a commanding presence to the net at USAV. As a middle blocker and attacker, she was explosive off the floor with a quick first step and fast arm through the seam. Running quicks in front and crashing hard in transition, Ellianna found ways to score and keep blockers off-balance. Her timing on the block was dialed in—closing to pin and sealing the net with authority. She brought energy, urgency, and relentless effort every play. Uncommitted and rising, Ellianna is a dynamic middle who impacts both sides of the ball.

We head to Northwest Iowa to take a look at Elianna Hoeffert who preps at Central Lyon High School and plays club ball at Kairos out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Hoeffert plays up on the Kairos 17 Beta team who has put together quite a season.  She will be finishing up her sophomore year in high school and will be one for college coaches to take a look at come the summer.  She is a physical 6’1 middle blocker who has a major presence at the net.  Her length and strength is what sets her apart where she is always going to win a 50/50 ball.  She is able to get to the pin to close the block and work quickly in transition to be available for her setter. 

We’re heading up into the Northwest corner of Iowa to take a look at Elliana Hoefert who preps at Central Lyon High School and will play club for Kairos out of Sioux Falls.  Kairos has been able to get some top kids out of Northwest Iowa who have gone on to very successful college careers.  Hoefert has a heavy arm swing where she can find most of her kills coming from the pin.  There’s plenty of pop. As her backcourt game develops, she will be able to score points from everywhere.  She is definitely one to keep tabs on through the 2025 club season.
