Expert Analysis
Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Her prep numbers are nearly unfathomable. Criqui eclipsed a scoring average seldom seen at any level: six kills per set. She took nearly 1,300 swings for Marais des Cygnes Valley last fall and hit 0.361 despite all that volume. Of course, we want to go beyond the head-spinning numbers to Criqui’s winning qualities with the Trojans. The six-rotation outside hitter dishes out incredible heat that can stagger defenders in the right place to make a play. Criqui also brings that intangible competitiveness that comes with being a three-sport star at MDCV. That’ll bring you up a notch in the rankings.

Numbers like these don’t come around often. Criqui’s 6.1 kills per set led the way for almost every Kansas athlete, regardless of class. This athletic pin hitter has the freedom to run her own routes in the front row and terminate from anywhere along the tape. Her multi-sport influence with Marais des Cygnes Valley is making waves, and she’s getting it done with Midwest Juniors in the club campaign, too. Criqui’s multi-faceted game is cemented through a colossal 4.8 digs per set and nearly 100 aces in the 2025 campaign. She does it all.

I am not sure that there is anything Criqui can’t do on a volleyball court. She was all over the state leaderboard last season. She finished her sophomore season with 97 aces and a serving percentage of 90 percent over 95 sets played. She is ranked No. 37 overall in the Kansas Class of 2028. Pretty much all of Criqui’s numbers were eye-popping, but the other stat of hers that stands out above the rest was her total of 581 kills for the Trojans.
