About Estella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an explosive, intense and aggressive OH. I have the arm strength to hit through players and am not afraid to challenge the block.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

The moment I step on the court my mentality is to crush everyone on the other side. I am locked into the task at hand. Competing against the best is when I play my best. I strive to dominate in every aspect of my life, and I am never satisfied, even when I am at the top.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCA Junior National Honor Society Piano Hope for the Homeless Lost Our Home Pet Rescue Central Christian Church

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skill that I have developed that I am most proud of is being resilient. No matter what is thrown at me in life or on the volleyball court, I always find a way to keep working and striving to be better, even through adversity and difficult times. I also continually strive to develop servant leadership skills. I always try to put the needs of my teammates before my own needs.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I moved from Minnesota when I was in middle school. Not knowing a single person was hard, but luckily volleyball was a fall sport and I was able to meet so many amazing girls.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play in a D1 program. I am looking for a college with a great business program.
