I liked what I saw from Hayes’ game when watching her compete at the Rockets Blast early this club season. She was a big reason why CR Surge U15 Jeff competed well at that event. It was good getting a chance to see her compete again during the 2026 ASICS Show Me National Qualifier during the middle of April in Kansas City. Hayes guided her team to a 5-2 record in the American Division of one of the season’s top tournaments. The Cedar Rapids Kennedy freshman is a well-rounded setter. She feeds her attackers in spots where they can make plays. Her feel for where each one likes the ball is keen. Hayes is athletic and fast, quickly adjusting to different pass locations in keeping the squad in system. She’s a sound defender at the net and in the back row with the capability to hold up well in serve-receive. Hayes is a prospect to watch moving forward.
