Ousley impresses me with her play each and every time I watch her compete. That certainly was the case during the 2026 ASICS Show Me National Qualifier during mid-April in Kansas City. Playing with a scrappy and connected Adrenaline 17 Lindsey squad, the Cedar Rapids Kennedy junior was bringing the bounce and heavy swing from the pin on a regular basis. Ousley packs an impressive vertical leap and possesses hang time that allows for getting on top of the ball. She can power through the block, off of it or around it after assessing the situation in the air. Jumping ability aids in throwing up a strong block, too. Athleticism leads to fluid movements. It, along with agility, enables quick adjustments no matter where the action goes. Ousley is a solid back-row player already and improving in that area. She’s a smart volleyballer with good energy and a positive connection with teammates. Ousley missed some time last prep season with injury but finished with 176 kills and 117 digs in 98 sets.
