About Finley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with control but get excited for my teammates. I’m very aggressive when I need to be but always thinking about where to place the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to touch every ball or better the ball. Nothing drops.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in National Charity League, National Junior Honor Society, and church volunteering. I average 45 volunteer hours a year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have become a better leader throughout the years I love to talk to my teammates and ask what they need from me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’m facing a challenge deciding what position to choose because I know I can hit but I feel as though I’ve been used more as a DS/L so I feel like I’ve struggled putting myself out there as a hitter this season.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for somewhere that will support me through my journey and that is very welcoming and has great community.
